Finish every day and be done with it. You have done what you could; some blunders and absurdities crept in; forget them as soon as you can. Tomorrow is a new day; you shall begin it serenely and with too high a spirit to be encumbered with your old nonsense.
— Ralph Waldo Emerson (via quote-book)
I’m sick and I’ve missed the last two days of school. I’ve done all of my homework and am feeling motivated, so I’m making a reading list. I’m taking both AP English (Literature and Composition & Language and Composition) tests this May, so I’m trying to make a valuable guide to direct my reading for the rest of the year.
Will post when completed… :)

That’s what real love amounts to - letting a person be what he really is. Most people love you for who you pretend to be. To keep their love, you keep pretending, performing. You get to love your pretense. It’s true, we’re locked in an image, an act.

You can always cope with the Now, but you can never cope with the future - nor do you have to. The answer, the strength, the right action or the resource will be there when you need it, not before, not after.
— Eckhart Tolle (via calidre) (via quote-book)
